Security Information
Dave Barron and his committee have conducted interviews with neighbors and surveyed properties to comprehensively assess our neighborhood security needs. Through these efforts, they have identified several areas where improvements can be made to enhance the security of our neighborhood.
They have noticed a clear connection between recent break-ins and poorly lit areas in our neighborhood, where there is a lack of streetlights. To address this concern, the installation of motion detection lights is recommended. These are not only cost-efficient but also simple to install. If you need help with installation email Dave Barron at moc.liamtohnull@norrabhd. He will work with you to get these installed.
In their surveys, it was noted that out of the 238 homes surveyed, only 60 homes displayed security signs. They strongly encourage all residents to consider investing in security systems to improve the safety of their homes and our community.
Furthermore, they have outlined several additional security measures for your consideration:
1. Ensure that cars and doors are securely locked at all times
2. Install of proper lighting around your home
3. Avoid leaving packages unattended outside for extended periods
Taking these steps may seem challenging, but please know that support and guidance are readily available. If you require assistance or have any questions regarding security measures, please do not hesitate to reach out. Dave and his committee are here to help in any way they can.
