The Forest Hills Neighborhood Association

Last month we reported on the houses that were relocated by the Columbia Housing and Development Corporation from the area behind Dreher High School. The contract has already been let for the house moved to Pine Street and requests for bids will go out from the CHDA to contractors during the week of May 25. Designers from the CHDC will meet bidding contractors at the three sites on Manning as early as May 29 with bids expected back to the CHDC within the first two weeks of June. The proposed winning contract must be approved by City Council with renovation construction likely to commence by the second week of July.
