The Forest Hills Neighborhood Association

The City of Columbia has completed working with the neighborhoods that preceded Forest Hills and is beginning to process our application for designation as an Architectural Conservation District. Eric Powers will be the chair of this committee. The committee will review where we were more than 18 months ago, provide information regarding the various degrees of protective measures that we might seek to implement, and describe the process that we will follow. Subsequent meetings and survey mechanisms will be used to develop a balanced neighborhood consensus.

We are eager to move forward as the neighborhood's protection from subdivision and out-of-scale construction under Interim Measures terminates fall of 2010. Please encourage Forest Hills neighbors to join you as this process impacts every piece of property in Forest Hills.
